Accessibility

At all stages throughout the application process, and in Foundation Programme participation, Orpheus will make every effort to support the needs and access means required for every individual – no matter how small or large these may be. Please get in touch with us at any point to talk further about anything we can do to help you in your application or participation: admin@orpheusfoundation.com

Applications are in two-stages.

Stage 1:

Online submission. You are required to complete the application form in which you will need to submit the scores, with accompanying recordings if available, of your own choice of 2 compositions from your repertoire.

The selected 2025-26 OSFP composer will be invited to compose a 10-minute concert piece for orchestra (instrumentation: 2222 4231 Timp Strings(64442)) to premiere on 25 June 2026, so please submit your choice of material that best demonstrates your ability and potential for that commission.

If you have a recording available please also submit this to support your score submission, however recordings of submitted scores are not a pre-requisite to application. Recordings do not need to be professionally produced, and the production of the recording will not have any bearing on the outcome of the audition. Recordings made on iPhone or similar are perfectly acceptable.

Applicants should test the playability of their recording links prior to submission, by checking the links work on at least one device different from the one they are recording on/completing the form on.

Stage 2:

Shortlist interviews in London on Monday 8th September 2025.
