Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme – Discovery

Join us for an exceptional evening of music-making as the Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme presents a concert defined by the thrill of discovery. We invite you to be among the very first to hear two brand-new works, a testament to the future of music.
The evening begins with the vibrant, celebratory energy of Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, a joyful start to a programme with such a colourful and summery palette.
The stage is then set for two world premieres. In a thrilling collaboration, we are honored to feature our commission from the award-winning composer Roxana Panufnik, whose new piece for cello and orchestra will be performed by the celebrated soloist Jonathan Swensen, winner of the Windsor Festival International String Competition. We will also introduce a brand new work from an exciting young talent, an Orpheus Foundation Composer. This is a rare and unmissable opportunity to witness musical history in the making.
The concert concludes with the sublime sonorities of Brahms’s Symphony No. 3, a work of profound beauty and emotional depth. It is the perfect piece to round out an evening of explosive energy, quiet contemplation, and artistic boldness.
Join us to Experience Music Differently and be a part of a new chapter for music itself.
